Meet the Expert

Hi, I’m Leila. I’m a mother and the founder of Village for Mama. Village for Mama was inspired by my own journey which I prepared for using guidelines from beautiful books like ‘The First Forty Days’ and ‘The Fourth Trimester’. I wanted to help pass the messages from these resources on in a simple and easy way, to summarise some of the key points I know new mamas have trouble expressing to their family, friends, neighbours and so on. My hope is that my recipe book, Village for Mama, helps women experience a magical, supported and well nourished fourth trimester with the helping hands of their own village.
